Coin98 Wallet Monthly Report - October 2020: Unstoppable Developments
Another month has passed, we are happy to look back on our effort put into the Coin98 Wallet. During this period, we have implemented a wide range of product updates including a new version release (Coin98 Wallet 6.0) and 6 new added cryptocurrencies and tokens, as well as forming 2 new partnerships with Band Protocol and NEM in order to launch our wallet on the path of becoming one of the simplest and most secure non-custodial crypto wallets globally. Besides, we also want to highlight some of the most important upcoming events of our products to the community.
Coin98 Wallet's Developments
In terms of technology
We have made 2 remarkable updates to ensure our product lives up to our users’ expectations:
- The release of the latest version Coin98 Wallet 6.0 with 4 new key features:
- Celo blockchain integration; Celo, cUSD supported
- Coin98 Bridge for ERC20 & SPL tokens conversion
- Multi-chain and multi-source portfolio management
- Advanced send mode
- The introduction of MATH, HXRO, UNI, KEEP, SPL as well as USDC native token on Solana Blockchain platform in our wallet.
In terms of partnerships
Coin98 Wallet has established 2 new collaborations:
- One with Band Protocol - a cross-chain data oracle platform, which allows Coin98 Wallet to have access to decentralized price data for over 125 crypto tokens, 14 foreign exchange rates from reputable crypto price aggregators, crypto exchanges, and premium APIs for foreign exchange rates providers through integrating with Band Protocol Oracles. Coin98 Wallet will be more transparent, flexible, and scalable with this partnership;
- The other with NEM - a significant contributor to the evolution of blockchain. Thanks to this alliance, Coin98 Wallet will integrate NIS1 and Symbol, two blockchain platforms built by NEM into its system, and extend its list of available supported cryptocurrencies with two new items - XEM and upcoming XYM, native currencies of NISI, and Symbol in the month of November.
Upcoming Events
In the next month, we are so excited to introduce a list of expected updates to our users:
- The version 7.0 Coin98 Wallet with direct Uniswap trading;
- The appearance of LunaDex, a decentralized exchange, in Coin98 Wallet. This is the first step of the long-term strategy to transform the Coin98 Wallet into a multi-functional wallet;
- The Coin98 Web Wallet and Extension Wallet with anti-theft password mechanism;
- The introduction of two new items XEM and upcoming XYM following the partnership with NEM;
- The integration of Binance Smart Chain (a new blockchain with a full-fledged environment for developing high-performance non-custodial applications) and BandChain (a high-performance blockchain built for data oracle) into Coin98 Wallet.
