UNLOCKED #4 | Importing Portfolios from Exchange Platforms
We’re back with another episode of Coin98 Wallet’s UNLOCKED Series - your guide through the app’s helpful features that many did not fully know about.
Following the previous episode of portfolio tracking on Coin98 Wallet, we'll be showing you how to import your portfolios from different trading platforms to Coin98 Wallet. This feature is extremely helpful as it helps to manage your assets all in one place while saving your precious time.
This feature currently supports 9 exchange platforms, including FTX, Binance, Huobi, OKEx, KuCoin, Bibox, Bittrex, Poloniex and Bitfinex.
What you will need:
- An account from at least 1 of the 9 mentioned exchange platforms.
- An API Key for this account.
- A Secret Key associated with this API.
Follow your platforms’ instructions on how to create an API before connecting to Coin98 Wallet. Please note that you should set the API restrictions to “Read Only” to eliminate any risks of losing your assets.
How to connect your account from an exchange platform to Coin98 Wallet
Step 1: On the Coin98 Mobile Wallet home screen, place your finger on the Asset display tab and swipe to the right.
Step 2: Select your platform from the list.
Step 3: Insert the API Key and Secret Key associated with your trading account.
Step 4: Click Connect Exchange to complete.
After connecting, your new portfolio with all assets from the connected trading account will immediately display on Coin98 Wallet. To connect other accounts, simply slide the new exchange asset display tab to the right again and repeat as needed.
Other activities you can perform
Disconnect an exchange account
Click Manage & click the trashcan icon at the top right corner to disconnect an exchange account.
Hide or Unhide coins/tokens
Click Manage & click the button next to the coins/tokens you want to hide or unhide from the total asset display.
View statistics
Go to Statistics to see how your portfolio is divided and which coins/tokens contribute the most to your total asset value.
